The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR) honors and preserves the legacy of our patriotic ancestors. Any woman 18 years of age or older, regardless of race, religion or ethnic background, who can prove direct descent from a person who aided in achieving American independence during the period between April 19, 1775, and November 26, 1783, are eligible for membership.
